Sunbleached Painting Party & Closing Reception "The Magic of the Sun Playing with the Moon"

Come to see the art, stay to hang and paint with us! 

You are cordially invited to help us create a large format hand painted negative that will be used to produce a durational sunbleached contact print. This project is inspired by Japeth Mennes’s painting, “Sun Bleach”, currently on view as a part of Big Ramp’s exhibition, “The Magic of the Sun Playing with the Moon”.  

The collaborative negative will be anchored in a frame on top of a glow-in-the dark fluorescent ground and installed in our courtyard for a year-long exposure.  

The Magic of the Sun Playing with the Moon includes works by Japeth Mennes, Jason Lazarus, Kristen Neville Taylor, Stephanie Manzi, Lauren Nickou, and Paolo Mentasti, and curated by Big Ramp directors Alexandra Schoolman and Michelle Anne Harris.
